Data Analytics & Reporting Specialist

(Contract / Leave Coverage - 6 to 7 months)

$32-33/hr DOE

Location: Onsite/In Office - Irvine CA

Full time: Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Data Analytics & Reporting Specialist to support critical business intelligence functions during a temporary leave of absence (LOA). This role plays a key part in maintaining reporting accuracy, delivering actionable insights, and supporting customer satisfaction initiatives across sales and service operations.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in Excel and Power BI, along with the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights that drive decision-making and improve customer experience.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Maintain and update HealthCheck reporting, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery to stakeholders
  • Support Net Promoter Score (NPS) reporting and analysis, including tracking trends, identifying opportunities, and providing actionable recommendations
  • Perform recurring and ad hoc data analysis to support business needs

Customer Satisfaction Insights (SSI/CSI)

  • Analyze Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) survey data
  • Identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement across dealership sales and service performance
  • Produce reports and dashboards that clearly communicate key insights to stakeholders
  • Partner with internal teams to recommend data-driven improvements to enhance customer experience

Project Support

  • Assist with various analytics and reporting initiatives tied to customer satisfaction programs
  • Support Evaluation reviews, including data collection, validation, and reporting
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting tools, dashboards, and processes

Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)

  • Strong analytical skills with proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and insights generation
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, data modeling)
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI or similar cloud-based analytics platforms
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience working with customer satisfaction metrics (NPS, SSI, CSI, or similar programs)
  • Familiarity with survey data analysis and customer feedback interpretation
  • Experience supporting reporting in a dealership, automotive, or retail environment (preferred but not required)
  • Ability to identify trends and proactively recommend improvements based on data insights
